Tiger Woods wife, Elin Nordegren, Rescues Husband From Car By Smashing Window With Golf Club


According to reports by WRAL, Tiger Woods wife, Elin Nordegren, Tiger rescued from the vehicle after they crashed by smashing the back window with a golf club. Tiger Woods pulled out of the driveway at his Windermere, Florida mansion home at approximately 2:25 pm, Friday, November 27, 2009 and crashed into a Fire Hydrant, and then a tree located in his neighbor's yard.

Reports state that when police arrived at the scene Tiger Woods was laying in the road with his wife, Elin Nordegren, was standing near him. Elin Nordegren told authorities that she had heard the accident, rushed outside and saw Tiger trapped in the vehicle. Using the golf club, she smashed the window and pulled him out of the car. Reports state that Tiger was in and out of consciousness when help arrived. Tiger Woods was transported to the Health Central Hospital where he was treated, released, and said to be in good condition.

According to reports, Tiger Woods suffered facial lacerations that included injuries to his upper and lower lips and that was blood in his mouth when help arrived. The Florida Highway Patrol arrived at the scene, spoke with Tiger Woods in the hospital before he was released, and is believed To Have met with Tiger and his wife at the couple's home. They have stated that they do not believe that alcohol was a factor in the accident and that Tiger Woods was alone in the vehicle at the time of the car crash.
It has not yet been released where Tiger Woods was going at 2:25 in the morning.
